When the Israelites lived in captivity in Egypt and were then led out by Moses through the parting of the Red Sea, they marched rejoicing and singing to the Lord for He triumphed gloriously. In our earthly life, we may face challenges that yield captivity of illness. The Coptic Orthodox Church--through her teachings, pastoral care, and liturgical prayers--guide her people to seek remedy.
Sound Mind & Spirit is a diocesan ministry established to promote mental health awareness to clergy, lay servants, youth, and parishioners across the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of the Southern U.S.
